Here is a short manual to help you feel at home @Casa Carioca

• Get inside: when you get to the building, please use the service entrance (the one with the security guard), where they can confirm your identity and give you access to the building. Our apartment is located on the second floor, apto 207. Please, use the security code communicated to you to unlock the door.
• Parking: there is no parking available on site. Still, you may use the paid parking right next door.
• Facilities: In the apartment you may find TVs, ACs (in each room) and a fully equipped kitchen. You may use the remote controls for the TVs and the ACs to adjust as per your choice.
• Coffee: you may use the coffee maker in the kitchen (on top of the cupboards) if you prefer filtered coffee (we don't store ground coffee in the apartment as it would not be fresh all the time). You may also prepare an espresso using the machine in the living room (in front of the mirror). It works with Nespresso compatible capsules. We do provide complimentary capsules for you to start the day nice ☕☀️
• Kitchen: we have the main appliances and utensils for you to prepare a tasty breakfast and/ or meal. Please, note that the stove uses gas, use the buttons to turn it on and off. On the top of the cupboards you may find some small kitchen appliances such as toaster, blender, coffee maker. All the utensils have been stored in the cupbaords. We normally leave some salt and olive oil or some basic spices for cooking too.
• Laundry: washing and drying machines are located right in front of the toilet/ bathroom next to the kitchen. Please, make sure you don't overload the machines (up to 10 kg) and kidnly use the washing machine (below) for washing only and the drying machine (above) to dry. If usure how to use any of the machines, please ask your host.
• Bathrooms: we have two toilets and two bathrooms. There are complimentary shampoo and shower gel inside. Before taking a shower, please make sure you have adjusted the water as per your liking. Since the water is being heated by gas it might get really hot quickly when you turn the faucet (left one is for hot water).
• Bedrooms: all bedrooms are equipped with linens, blankets and towels. If you need an extra piece, please look inside the closets and/ or get in touch with your host. There is a hair dryer, an iron and an ironing desk inside the closet of the qeen bed bedroom.
• Wifi is available throughout the apartment - network name and password will be communicated to you.

Please, respect the house rules:

• smoking, vaping and drugs usage is strictly prohibited in the apartment or the building premises
• parties and events are not allowed within the apartment
• pets are not allowed
• silent hours are between 22hrs and 7hrs
• if you were at the beach, please, always use the service entrance (the one with the security guard) and wash the sand off your feet using the respective tap there before you go up to the apartment
• please, pack and leave all the garbage inside the apartment before you leave
• please, close the windows and turn off all ACs and appliances before you leave
